Test Designer/Developer
Job Overview
As a Test Designer/Developer within the Industrial Department, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our high-density electronic card systems. You'll collaborate closely with various teams, including Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and System/IVVQ, to provide comprehensive testing programs and resources. Your role will span from product development to mass production, making sure that our products meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in product launch reviews.
- Analyze product test ability and customer requirements to provide industrial specifications that consider production needs from the design stage.
- Define the necessary test resources and develop a test ability strategy, mastering the software/system overview.
- Participate in qualifying new technologies defined by Product Management.
- Write and provide internal and client documentation, including specifications, testing strategies, validation plans, and coverage rate definitions.
- Develop test programs ranging from basic functions to comprehensive product testing.
- Implement the physical means necessary to test the product.
- Validate test programs on the first production batches.
- Deploy test programs and resources for production.
- Capitalize on feedback during industrialization for mass production optimization.
- Train production technicians on testing procedures and provide technical support for resolving issues.
- Prepare industrial documentation required for series production.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Bac+5 level in Computer Science.
- 3 to 5 years in software development related to electronic cards and high-density systems.
- Mastery of Linux OS.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, Python, and shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including debugging techniques.
- Ability to automate tests (creating automated test scripts and frameworks).
- Rigor and a strong team spirit.
- Fluency in English (B2 level) for communication with international contacts.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Windows OS.
- Knowledge of network management, including TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, and network administration.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Testoob, Pytest, and Robot.
