Process Engineer
Job Overview
Join our innovative team as a Process Engineer, where you will play a critical role in optimising manufacturing and production processes. This position is vital for the enhancement of efficiency, product quality, and sustainability, directly contributing to our operational success and industry leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and lead assigned departments, including facilities, maintenance services, and engineering
- Provide technical guidance and collaborative leadership to ensure effective use of facilities and processes
- Document new methods, processes, and procedures, while monitoring key metrics for standard trends
- Collaborate with skilled staff to emphasize operations uptime and project management
- Manage project progress, confer with engineers, and ensure adherence to budgetary and timeline guidelines
- Collaborate with management to establish short and long-range operating goals
- Support and direct lean practices throughout the facility and monitor departmental objectives
- Ensure operators are trained and adhere to procedures and work instructions
- Assist in setting up a new manufacturing site and collaborate with IT and warehouse teams
- Travel up to 3 weeks per month as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of five years in increasingly complex technical supervisory roles
- Proven experience in capital project management and structured problem analysis
- Familiarity with OSHA, DEP, NFPA guidelines, and plant safety requirements
- Strong verbal, written, technical, and financial skills with an emphasis on communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Project, as well as GANTT, PERT, and CPM charts
- Knowledge of CAD, CAE, and CAM engineering tools, as well as Great Plains
