DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure design, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you’ll be working closely with the development team to implement scalable DevOps practices, optimize deployment processes, and ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance. This position offers an opportunity to lead improvements in our DevOps environment, helping integrate DevOps practices across all stages of product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and improve DevOps processes, driving efficiency and quality in product development.
- Develop a scalable infrastructure for product development with a modern DevOps toolkit.
- Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines to streamline workflows.
- Work closely with the development team to integrate DevOps principles into every stage of the development lifecycle.
- Continuously assess and enhance infrastructure, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable systems.
- Maintain the security, scalability, and availability of systems to meet organizational requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Training as an IT specialist, degree in computer science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years in DevOps or infrastructure roles.
- Strong experience in infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance in a DevOps context.
- In-depth knowledge of deployment automation tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Proficient in object-oriented languages, including C#, .NET, or Java.
- Skilled with SVN and Git version control systems.
- Practical experience with cloud services, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities, a structured approach to work, and strong communication skills.
- Fluent in German (C1) and proficient in English (B2).
