IT Consultant Logistics and Production (ERP)
Job Overview
As an IT Consultant with a focus on Logistics and Production, you will bridge the gap between business processes and IT solutions, particularly for logistics and manufacturing operations. This role is suited to someone with IT consulting experience within the manufacturing industry, ideally familiar with ERP and MES systems. The position offers a blend of application management, consulting, and training for key users and process experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide departments in modeling business processes within software, especially focusing on logistics and production.
- Serve as the IT Application Manager for select systems, overseeing their operation and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with system owners, consultants, and developers to create solution concepts.
- Manage and implement change requests, including testing and approval processes.
- Perform system customizations through parameter settings.
- Train and support key users and process experts in system utilization and the implemented business processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in IT or equivalent practical experience (minimum 2 years) within a manufacturing and logistics setting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is preferred.
- Strong IT affinity with the ability to understand and optimize complex systems and processes.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Team-oriented with the initiative to take on responsibilities in interdisciplinary environments.
- Proficiency in German (B2) and English (B1).
