Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Controller with extensive experience in the FX market to lead our financial operations and strategies. This role requires deep expertise in foreign exchange processes, financial reporting, and compliance to enhance our organisation's financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage both standalone and consolidated financial reporting across a group of companies, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, and deliver monthly financial reports as required.
• Lead financial planning processes, including preparing and overseeing the annual budget.
• Draft IFRS-compliant financial statements and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory obligations, including timely tax filings and other submissions.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with banks and key service providers.
• Provide payroll-related support and guidance when necessary.
• Oversee the implementation of a new ERP system, ensuring team training and smooth adoption.
• Develop and enforce internal accounting policies, keeping team members informed and aligned.
• Prepare ad-hoc management reports to aid strategic decision-making.
• Support tax planning and group restructuring initiatives.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to meet business objectives.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Native or fluent English speaker (C1 level), with excellent communication skills.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Possession of ACA or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior finance role (e.g., Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager).
• Background in a Big Four firm and/or the FinTech industry is advantageous.
• Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Familiarity with CySEC reporting is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and experience handling high transaction volumes.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
