Senior Seller Manager – Luxury Market
We are seeking an experienced Senior Seller Manager with a strong focus on the luxury market and Japanese sellers. This role offers the opportunity to shape and grow a high-profile category by leveraging your expertise in luxury goods and cross-border e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Insights & Strategy: Understand the Japanese luxury market, including supply structures, emerging trends, and high-potential brands, categories, and products. Develop strategies to enhance the platform's competitive edge in the luxury segment.
- Seller Recruitment & Management: Identify and recruit top-tier Japanese sellers, including traders, suppliers, and brands. Build long-term partnerships and guide them through onboarding and operational processes.
- Operational Excellence: Create tailored operational plans for sellers, helping them achieve sales targets while adhering to platform policies. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations and optimal supply chain management.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Analyze business performance data to identify inefficiencies, detect anomalies, and design actionable, system-level improvements to drive growth.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement: Work closely with teams across operations, infrastructure, and customer experience to continuously optimize seller performance and improve the overall business experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the luxury goods industry with a minimum of 5 years in cross-border e-commerce or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese luxury market, including its supply chain and operational dynamics.
- Fluent in Japanese and Mandarin for seamless communication.
- Exceptional negotiation and seller relationship management skills, with the ability to develop proactive and innovative operational plans.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative attitude.
