About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate professional to join our team as an AV Trainer, Technician. This role is pivotal in enhancing our team’s technical proficiency and ensuring the flawless execution of audiovisual services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and training abilities, with a focus on delivering exceptional AV solutions and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive, hands-on training programs for aspiring AV Technicians, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications.
• Create, update, and maintain training materials, resources, and documentation.
• Evaluate trainee performance through assessments and constructive feedback to ensure technical proficiency.
• Stay up to date with the latest AV/IT advancements, integrating new technologies into training and studio operations.
• Install and configure AV/IT systems in accordance with Broadcast Engineer specifications.
• Assemble, set up, and test professional video cameras and related equipment.
• Run, inspect, and troubleshoot video, audio, and network cables to maintain optimal performance.
• Install and configure studio lighting based on production requirements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
• Work flexible shifts, including nights, to support the studio's 24/7 operations.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English (C1 level) with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in assembling, troubleshooting, and repairing AV and IT hardware.
• Ability to simplify and explain complex technical concepts to a variety of learners.
• Background in training, mentoring, or teaching, ideally in a technical or AV-related field.
• Familiarity with multimeters and a fundamental understanding of AC/DC circuitry.
• Proficiency in configuring and installing Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with AV equipment, including TV control rooms and Chroma Key technology.
• Expertise in managing, testing, and troubleshooting cabling systems (video, audio, and network).
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with evolving technologies.
• Strong teamwork, patience, and adaptability, with a passion for knowledge sharing.
• Experience in setting up and configuring computer peripherals and drivers.
• Basic knowledge of operating video cameras, microphones, and audio mixers.
