HR Business Partner (Japan/Korea)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our business expansion in Japan and Korea. This role is pivotal in aligning our headquarters' HR strategies with local business needs, ensuring seamless execution of HR policies, talent development, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the local labor market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner, aligning HR operations with business objectives in Japan/Korea, ensuring the successful implementation of headquarters’ HR strategies.
- Drive the execution and localization of HR policies in Japan while providing feedback and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Support business leaders with HR initiatives across all functions, offering professional advice and ensuring smooth implementation.
- Build and develop a strong talent pipeline, focusing on key positions and employee skill enhancement.
- Oversee day-to-day office administration to ensure smooth operations, including policy updates, internal events (team-building, meetings), and general administrative tasks (visitor management, document handling, etc.).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 3 years of HRBP experience in Japan.
- Long-term work and living experience in Japan/Korea, with a strong understanding of local labor laws and policies.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, excellent organizational and coordination abilities, and a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication and leadership skills, capable of thriving in an international work environment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and Japanese/Korean (both languages can be used as working languages).
