IT Support Specialist

Role Introduction
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to be a key part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will offer technical assistance to our customers and internal staff, ensuring high levels of client and user satisfaction. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues and deliver solutions to support our team's productivity and the success of our projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain technical equipment including encoders, scanners, and desktop systems, utilizing logs and monitoring tools to ensure optimal service delivery. Respond to IT support requests to uphold critical infrastructure such as access points, modules, and network switches.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams—development, audio-visual, IT, and security—to test and deploy new applications, ensuring seamless network performance and integration across departments.

Ensure the reliability of encoders and media servers by proactively resolving technical issues, especially during live events or broadcasts.

Partner with team leads to diagnose and resolve technical challenges efficiently, perform equipment troubleshooting, and manage necessary hardware replacements.

Administer user workstations, system configurations, and internal IT procedures. Address support incidents within designated timeframes to maintain uninterrupted service.

Oversee IT asset inventory, perform regular audits, track hardware, and coordinate with external vendors to resolve issues while minimizing business impact.
- Continuously enhance IT infrastructure to align with business goals, manage regular maintenance, and uphold data security and confidentiality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT support or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team; flexible and adaptable to changing environments.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are an advantage.
