Project Architect | Project Manager

Position Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Architect | Project Manager to take full architectural design responsibility for new or modified structures, including institutional and religious buildings. This role may also act as the Responsible Professional Architect (RPA) coordinating with other disciplines. The successful candidate will support client relationship management and contribute to marketing efforts alongside the Architectural Group Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Address complex design and technical challenges throughout project lifecycles.
- Oversee daily supervision of design, technical development, and project coordination.
- Develop project budgets and monitor hours to ensure objectives are met.
- Advise on staffing and resource needs to maintain project progress.
- Foster effective client relationships to ensure project success.
- Manage project cost control and budget adherence.
- Communicate with clients, officials, subcontractors, and internal teams as necessary.
- Coordinate all aspects of project documentation and ensure accuracy.
- Stamp architectural work as authorized.
- Supervise and mentor project staff.
- Make technical decisions related to project design and execution.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Architectural Group Manager.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
- Current Architectural Registration (licensed architect).
- Membership in relevant professional or technical societies.
- NCARB IDP enrollment preferred.
- LEED certification is advantageous.
- Minimum 6-9 years licensed experience or over 10 years design/technical experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Skilled in Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively.
