About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading underground utility construction company to hire a seasoned Vice President of Administration. This executive-level role is critical to driving administrative excellence, financial discipline, and operational efficiency across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with deep industry expertise and a hands-on approach to managing complex operations and cross-functional teams.

Contribute to high-level planning, decision-making, and long-term business strategy
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes

Monitor financial health and drive cost-efficiency initiatives across departments
- Optimize procurement, logistics, and overall operational workflows

Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements and best practices
- Oversee vendor, subcontractor, and consultant contracts to ensure compliance and timely execution

Manage contract negotiations and monitor project budgets and timelines
- Direct HR strategy including recruitment, employee development, training, and compensation

Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and performance across all teams
- Ensure clear communication with internal departments, clients, and regulatory bodies

Prepare and present performance and operational reports to the executive team and board
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including 5–7 years in a senior administrative role within the construction sector (underground utility experience preferred)

Proven leadership in operations, finance, and organizational development

Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal frameworks, and regulatory compliance

Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
