About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and business-minded Commercial Real Estate Attorney to handle a broad range of sophisticated real estate matters. You will work directly with clients to structure and execute complex deals. This role suits a practical attorney who thrives in a small-firm environment and is eager to grow their practice through hands-on client engagement and deal management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, leasing (retail, office, industrial), and development.
• Draft and negotiate key documents including purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing agreements, and joint venture contracts.
• Advise clients on entity formation, due diligence, zoning, title, and survey issues.
• Manage financing transactions such as construction loans, permanent financing, and refinancings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with developers, investors, and institutional clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of substantive transactional real estate experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong expertise in commercial leasing, acquisitions, development, and financing transactions.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Admission to the state bar or ability to waive in.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a demonstrated ability to originate business (preferred for Junior Partner candidates).
• Exceptional skills in drafting, negotiation, and client management.
