About the Role

Our client, a growing construction services company based in Anna, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Reporting Analyst to join their team. This pivotal role is ideal for someone who excels in Excel, understands the complexities of reporting within a construction environment, and can translate complex data into actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed financial and operational reports, dashboards, and charts for internal stakeholders.
• Analyze accounting data to track project costs, margin trends, and key performance metrics.
• Extract and manipulate data from CRM, accounting, and ERP systems to develop customized reporting solutions.
• Identify gaps in reporting processes and assist in implementing improvements through automation and workflow efficiencies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with field teams, finance, and executives to deliver timely and accurate reports that drive business performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional experience in reporting, accounting, or financial analysis, preferably within construction or trades-related industries.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards, macros, and charting.
• Strong technical aptitude with experience extracting and consolidating data from multiple systems such as CRMs, ERPs, and job cost platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to synthesize large data sets into clear, concise summaries.
• Ability to commute daily to the Anna, TX office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with job costing, project accounting, or work-in-progress (WIP) reporting.
• Familiarity with construction-specific software such as Procore, Sage, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
