Sales Accounts Executive (Healthtech SaaS/CTMS)
About the Role
We are looking for a driven and strategic Sales Account Executive to join a fast-growing team transforming the clinical trials industry. In this role, you will play a key part in accelerating growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and leading complex sales cycles across the pharmaceutical, health technology, and medical research sectors.
You will work closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to bring cutting-edge SaaS solutions to the market. If you’re passionate about healthcare innovation, tech-enabled transformation, and consultative selling, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and convert prospects within pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research organizations.
Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by qualifying leads and moving opportunities through the funnel.
Deliver tailored product demonstrations, present business value, and lead contract negotiations to close deals.
Foster long-term client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Monitor and report on key sales metrics and performance, collaborating with the executive team on forecasts and strategy.
Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
Attend industry events and conferences to build brand awareness and generate leads.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor movements, and client needs to inform sales strategy.
Requirements
3+ years of B2B sales or customer success experience in clinical trials industry.
Proven experience in SaaS or enterprise software sales.
Understanding of clinical trials and the life sciences landscape.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Confident working with CRMs, sales tools, and cloud-based systems (e.g., Google Suite, Apple).
Degree in Business, STEM, Communications, or a related field.
Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
