Maintenance Section Manager
We’re hiring a Maintenance Section Manager to lead the Implant/Metal maintenance area within IC Front-End Operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on ensuring stable, predictable, and continuously improving equipment performance across safety, quality, cost, and delivery - while managing a team of technicians and key maintenance processes.
Responsibilities
Lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve Safety, PM compliance, First Time Right, MTBF/MTTR, cost and efficiency
Run equipment performance analysis using PDCA, partnering closely with the Process team
Drive structured problem-solving through 8D and task forces with all key stakeholders
Manage and develop the technicians team (safety, organization, shift staffing, behavior, team culture)
Upskill team capabilities and build sustainable know-how across the maintenance organization
Maintain and improve maintenance documentation (procedures, checklists, standards, supplier documentation)
Ensure clear, structured communication across the maintenance group and IC Front-End organization
Collaborate with suppliers: track actions, follow up regularly, and improve intervention efficiency
Track and plan spare parts management and service contract costs
Support new equipment acquisition, start-up, and integration into operations
Maintain a technology watch to continuously improve maintenance and manufacturing performance
Requirements
Engineering degree (HES or equivalent)
7+ years of maintenance experience in Microelectronics, ideally with a strong focus on Implant / Metal
4+ years in a management/leadership role
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methods and tools: 5S, 8D, Equipment FMEA, FDC (Maestria)
Proven ability to lead teams and drive long-term performance improvements
Strong analytical mindset and proactive problem-solving approach
Structured, methodical, able to manage multiple priorities and projects
Comfortable collaborating with external suppliers and internal stakeholders
Solid project management experience and ownership mindset
Fluent French + Fluent English (daily use required)
