Junior FX Dealer
Position: Junior FX Dealer
Location: Remote from SEA region, India, or Pakistan
Employment Type: Service Agreement/Self-employment (no full employment contract available)
Remuneration: Fixed monthly salary
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Track and handle live trading operations across platforms and systems.
Implement risk controls and hedging tactics within set exposure and profit limits.
Help manage liquidity sources and refine pricing margins.
Oversee electronic trading periods and report any connection or data problems.
Keep precise trade logs, match transaction records, and generate daily summaries.
Spot and flag unusual trading activity, such as latency or harmful order flow.
Contribute to enhancing pricing and execution via setup tools or routing adjustments.
Work with tech teams on system setups and message validation.
Liaise with outside partners on trading or operational topics as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Native or C1-level English fluency, excelling in both written and verbal communication.
Availability to align with London and US market hours.
Basic grasp of financial markets, focusing on FX products like spot, forwards, and swaps.
Hands-on experience with platforms like MetaTrader or equivalents.
Knowledge of execution types (e.g., A-Book/B-Book) and order flow mechanics.
Awareness of liquidity providers and aggregation tools.
Sharp analytical abilities; strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Tables), plus Python or SQL as a bonus.
Keen eye for detail to detect data or platform inconsistencies.
Proactive, clear communication for raising issues or alerts.
Background in trade routing and risk tools (e.g., Centroid or similar).
Foundational FIX protocol knowledge and log interpretation skills.
Experience managing platform admin tasks (e.g., users, plugins).
Ease with plugin setups, including liquidity routing and markups.
Entry-level API handling (e.g., Python scripts, Postman, or Excel APIs).
Nice-to-have: Reading logs and using command-line for troubleshooting or automation.
