AI Architect (Enterprise Agentic AI & GenAI Platforms)
We are hiring a senior AI Architect to lead the design and governance of enterprise-grade AI ecosystems across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This is not a research role and not a prompt-engineering position. We’re looking for someone who can architect real, production-scale AI systems - interoperable, secure, observable and economically viable. You will shape large-scale Agentic AI capabilities, define architectural standards, and advise executive stakeholders on AI transformation strategy. You’ll operate at the intersection of cloud architecture, LLM systems engineering, governance, and enterprise integration. If you’re comfortable discussing multi-agent orchestration patterns in one meeting and AI risk governance with a CIO in the next, this role is for you.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and govern enterprise reference architectures for multi-agent AI systems (hierarchical, peer-to-peer, sequential orchestration patterns)
Architect interoperable AI platforms combining frontier models, SLMs, and edge inference capabilities
Design advanced memory architectures including session memory, vector-based long-term memory, knowledge graphs, and audit/episodic tracking
Build and standardize scalable RAG and Cache-Augmented Generation architectures with strong observability and evaluation frameworks
Establish multi-cloud integration strategies across Azure, AWS, and GCP while managing scalability and vendor lock-in risks
Define GenAIOps standards including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and cost/performance optimization
Architect enterprise-grade AI governance frameworks covering prompt security, PII handling, bias mitigation, and human-in-the-loop controls
Design secure integration patterns connecting AI systems with enterprise platforms, identity providers, collaboration tools, and cloud-native infrastructure
Advise executive stakeholders on AI roadmaps, operating models, and governance strategy
Mentor architecture and engineering teams, raising enterprise AI maturity
Contribute to thought leadership through publications, conferences, and community engagement
REQUIREMENTS
8-10+ years in senior technical leadership roles with strong foundations in software engineering and enterprise cloud architecture
Deep architectural expertise in at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and working knowledge of multi-cloud environments
Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade GenAI / LLM-based enterprise solutions
Strong hands-on experience building complex RAG pipelines and orchestration frameworks
Experience designing or prototyping advanced multi-agent systems
Practical exposure to LLM fine-tuning, instruction tuning, or model optimization strategies
Experience implementing GenAIOps practices including monitoring, cost control, latency optimization, and hallucination mitigation
Strong knowledge of AI governance frameworks and enterprise compliance standards
Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar
Proven ability to advise C-level stakeholders on AI strategy and transformation
Professional cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or GCP Architect level preferred)
Public thought leadership (publications, speaking, patents, OSS contributions) is a strong advantage
BENEFITS
Enterprise-scale AI transformation exposure across complex hybrid environments
Direct influence on executive AI strategy and long-term architecture decisions
Opportunity to define standards, not just implement them
High visibility role interacting with senior stakeholders
Performance-based bonus structure
Full-time permanent position in London
Access to global AI initiatives and innovation programs
How to Apply
We encourage applications from all qualified individuals, regardless of background, identity, or experience. Submit your CV highlighting your achievements. Optional cover letters are welcomed to share more about your ambition and commitment to client success.
