This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Institutional Sales professional to join a high-performing Fixed Income team, focusing on expanding relationships with investors across the Benelux region and Scandinavia.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, engage, and develop relationships with institutional investors for a broad range of Fixed Income products.
Build and grow a new client base across Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Nordic region.
Strengthen and expand relationships with existing institutional investors.
Prepare, adapt, and present marketing and investment materials to prospective clients.
Organize investor meetings, roadshows, and local industry events.
Develop a strong understanding of local regulatory frameworks, including Solvency II and other relevant regulations affecting institutional investors.
Identify and establish partnerships with local distributors and investment platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams to structure investment opportunities and deliver tailored client solutions.
Increase market awareness of the firm's investment capabilities through engagement with industry participants and financial media.
Monitor market trends and identify new fundraising and business development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field from a leading university.
Proven experience in Institutional Fixed Income Sales across the Benelux region and Scandinavia.
Demonstrated success in business development and institutional fundraising; experience raising capital for Fixed Income products is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of Fixed Income markets and institutional investment products.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks affecting institutional investors, including Solvency II.
Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to understand client requirements and propose appropriate investment solutions.
Results-driven, proactive, and highly self-motivated.
International mindset with the ability to work effectively across multicultural teams.
Fluent in Flemish and English (both written and spoken). French is considered a strong advantage.
